A superb, carved Chinese jade Zun vase. Of baluster body, raised on slight tripod splayed foot base. The wide prominent neck raised tall trumpet shaped flaring rim. The characterizing open-works carved , elephant head mask emerged inward from outer lips toward the neck, each suspending a free rings. The main body decorated in carved of auspicious , rococo and geometric pattern. The jade is fine and exquisite, the carving smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. Jade stone is pristine with a greyish-celadon iridescence and creamy off-white coloration, with attractive sporadic golden russet arrangement of natural inclusions, moist slicky appearance.
