PROVENANCE:
From collections of Gerald Martin Parmer (1943 - 2019) of Georgia. Private collectors, a medals decorated US Veteran Army, The USA consultant Republic of China and later as a security specialist and military policeman in the Philippines.
Dimensions: Height: 6.5cm, Diam: 41.5cm
Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Flower Porcelain Plate. The plates has a broad wide central interior, waves form rounded mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of flowers bloom interspersed foliage, scrolling interlocking tendril and enclosed with thrashing lishui wavy waves. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
