A 'CRANE AND DEER' CELADON JADE BRUSH REST
China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912- 1949). Carved with openwork rocks and pine trees forming a canopy. One side with a recumbent deer and a crane peeping from a corner and bird perching in between, the other side with a grooming crane. The stone of even celadon color.
Provenance: Private collection, USA.
Condition: Excellent condition with only minor wear.
