A QINGBAI SCULPTURE OF GUANYIN
China, Late Qing Dynasty to Republic period (1880 - 1930s). The Bodhisattva finely modeled in porcelain, seated on a double lotus base, the robe falling neatly over the base, the hair covered by a cowl. Coated with a lustrous glaze of very pale blue, the unglazed base with a mark.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear.
Provenance: German private collection, acquired from an old French private collection c. 2010.
