5th-8th century AD. A tinned bronze circlet comprising a flat section bar, two roundels and two octofoils; each roundel with a parcel-gilt wreath and concentric circles; each octofoil with parcel-gilt petals forming a rosette; the bar with rectangular panels each with a rectangle and wedge-shaped finials. 22.3 grams, 77mm wide (3"). Acquired in the late 1980s-early 1990s. Important North West London collection.
