**First Time At Auction**
Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A fine group of 28 cast bronze and copper coins, each depicting a regal figure on the obverse face and a myriad of different designs on the reverse faces. Though faded, the details on most of the coins are still visible. Size of largest: 1.25" W (3.2 cm); total weight: 328 grams.
Provenance: ex-Davis collection, Houston, Texas, acquired before 2013 from various auction houses in London and New York
All items legal to buy/sell under U.S. Statute covering cultural patrimony Code 2600, CHAPTER 14, and are guaranteed to be as described or your money back.
A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany all winning bids.
