A small Chinese teapot with black-glazed decoration dating from the Republic period. The teapot features an inscription with one seal on its body and an additional inscription on its lid. One side of the body depicts a landscape scene with two figures.
Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide, 7 cm X 11.4 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is a minuscule chip to the lid and iron pitting to the interior and handle.
Provenance: From a private St. Petersburg, Florida collection.
