Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain High Footed Bowl. The porcelain potted has a slightly flaring open mouth-rim, a inward stomach, a high-foot. High foot bowl, also known as Ba Wan, date back to Yuan Dynasty. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in blue and white color, depicted of Chinese character calligraphy poems form a circle the surface. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportion.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
