A Chinese porcelain plaque with an inscription and a peasant farming scene dating from the 18th century. The inscription and scene are bordered by blue waves, dragons, and lotus tracery.

Dimensions are: 9 inches tall X 10 1/2 inches wide, 22.9 cm X 26.7 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: The majority of the plaque shows severe, significant repairs and overpainting.

Provenance: From Ms. Farrow in Ventura, California. Ms. Farrow's aunt was a close friend with Chinese writer "Princess" Der Ling until she was killed. These items were sold to Ms. Farrow's aunt in the 1930s.
