Item Details

Description

Chinese Jade, Hard Stone and Cloisonne with gilt Bronze on Lacquer mounted in a 4 Hard Wood Panel Screen between carved wood panels of Archaistic Dragons and Shou Roundels; the stone and cloisonne well matched with opposing inlays to 2 left and 2 right panels each with colored lacquer back panels; the sides extended to 8 straight feet at bases. Height 74 3/4 inches (190 cm.) X width of each panel 14 1/2 inches (37 cm.).

Condition

Age related wear, shrinkage to wood panels, craquelure to lacquer, chain to cloisonne cover loose.
