Description

350. Lancaster, PA Grain Painted Softwood Miniature Stepback Cupboard attributed to David Flaud. Circa. 1910-1920. Single part Cupboard with molded cornice, two paneled doors, open pie shelf, with checked oil cloth mounted on top, above two lower paneled doors and shaped cut out base. David Flaud, a carpenter by trade, was married to Fannie Beiler, a niece of Henry Lapp. This very cupboard is featured in "Decorative Arts of the Amish of Lancaster County" by Daniel and Kathryn McCauley, page 146. 39"h. x 25"w. x 13"d. Condition: Very good with minor scrapes and wear.
