Description

SIGNED BURLON CRAIG (1914-2002), NORTH CAROLINA SWIRL-DECORATED STONEWARE PITCHERS, LOT OF TWO, alkaline-glazed with blue- and cream-colored swirls, comprising an ovoid pitcher with incised sine-wave decoration around shoulder, and a syrup pitcher with protruding spout and cover. Each stamped "B. B. CRAIG / VALE, N.C." under the base. 20th century. 8" and 5 1/4" H to rims.
