Description

Large Palatial 20th c. Chinese Export Porcelain Fish Bowl in the mandarin palette, polychrome decorated in the English tradition with two exterior medallions, one depicting huntsmen on horseback with dogs at the beginning of the hunt and one medallion with huntsmen on horseback with dogs and a treed fox. In addition there are two cartouches with birds on branches. Gilt details The interior is heavily decorated with swimming koi. Mark for Da Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi, this Bowl is 2nd half 20th century. With carved wood stand. Measures 22"x22"x29" on stand. Stand 10" tall.
