Flawless Chinese celadon jade ruyi scepter enclosed in glass display case. Ruyi can mean “may your wish be granted.†Lotus flower head, with gnarled vines and branches are depicted along the stalk. Jade stone is pristine with a greyish-celadon iridescence and creamy off-white coloration. Affixed to the butt of the stalk is an orange silk tassel ornament that matches the stalk in length. Wish granting (Ruyi) scepter rests atop a silk covered platform, with a glass cuboid case held together by molding ensconced in silk.
