Description
Chinese Qing Dynasty grisaille painting of a winding mountain pathway laid to silk. Hand-painted Chinese regular-script characters, with iron-red seals located on the right side of the image. A winding arduous pathway weaves through vaulted mountains where several traditional structures are established. Several villagers and officials can be seen traversing the trail. Di-gan Rod is firm and true allowing for the scroll to be wrapped easily and transported safely. Very well preserved and presented in a brownish-red palate.
