Item Details

Description

STUNNING, Chinese Qing Dynasty SOLID GOLD trinket box. Of compressed globular body, with slightly domed lid. The top cover decorated in relief with lattice pattern medallion, surrounded by colorful Butterflies inlaid of semi-precious stones including turquoise, lapis-lazuli, and red-coral, borne against dense of gourd abundant and scrolling tendril foliate.

The underside with incised four script characters reign mark, Enclosed within square frame border, Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period.

Measurements: Height: 2 1/8" Diameter: 2 7/8"
