REED & BARTON AND DURGIN / GORHAM STERLING SILVER SERVING UTENSILS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a "La Parisienne" large serving spoon by Reed & Barton and a "Regent" spatula by Durgin/Gorham with engraved monogram to blade. Each with worn maker's mark and "STERLING" to back of handle, spatula with retailer's mark for Cowell & Hubbard Co. of Cleveland, OH. Total weight: 10.480 ozt. First half 20th century. 9 1/8" and 9 7/8" L.
Fine to excellent overall condition with minor wear and surface scratches from use; spoon with some worn spots to raised decoration.
Provenance: From the estate of Commander Buryl and Nelwyn Kay, McLean, VA.
