Description

Pair of 20th c. Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Baluster Vases, with painted image and calligraphy depicting the "Eight Horses of Wang Mu" story, a epic of a Zhou dynasty emperor's travels in a chariot pulled by eight horses, each with apocryphal Qianlong gold and red seal mark on base, 11" high, 4 1/2" diam. Good condition.
