A pair of Federal carved giltwood looking glassesPossibly Baltimore, MD, early 19th century55 in. x 24 in.PROVENANCE:Property from a private collection.

Condition

nice overall condition; old mirror plates, with some losses and nice flecking throughout; gilding in good condition, with some apparent touch-ups, and some minor losses commensurate with age; backboards appear to be old, with modern metal reinforcements and hanging brackets installed; one mirro with some missing leaf/flower elements to lower swag; some leaves and flowers likely reattached.
